Danielle's Design.Com Web Site Services was established in 1998. It is a web site service company based in Clarkston, Washington. It is owned and operated by Danielle - hence the name - Danielle's Design.Com! However, Danielle's Design.Com has grown so much over the years that we've virtually 'grown out of' our name!

We keep our name, in part, because it is the name that our web site clients have come to know and trust, and we offer the same to our new customers, occasional customers and those who may have never heard of us, in search of a dependable, trustworthy, affordable web site service company. We truly live by our slogan - Personal Service, No Worries! No Hassles!

Who is Danielle?

Hi, I'm Danielle - I can't tell you enough how much I love what I do. I first became oriented with computers in 1990. I held various reception, secretarial and administrative assistant positions throughout the early part of the 1990's, and in 1996 I was accepted for a reception position in a very busy establishment where using a computer was a necessity. That was the year I built my first web site; a 'family' web site. <blush>An oh so lovely web site with a black background, and red and yellow text</blush!>. This may be able to be done tastefully, but this one wasn't a pretty 'site' (pun intended)! Anyway, I was hooked. I thought how great it would be if I could actually do this for other people and maybe even get paid for what I love to do! I thought it would be perfect - I had a four year old at the time, so I thought that I would learn more about web site development, and then perhaps work 2-3 days a week...

Well over time, and over eight years later, my 'part-time' business venture has turned into Monday - Friday from at least 8 a.m. to 5 or 6 p.m., working on web site projects, web site management, carefully preparing for business meetings and web site consultations, web site hosting accounts, domain name registration/management, search engine submission, computer graphic design and logo creation, and setting up nationwide dial-up Internet and High-speed Wireless Internet accounts (currently available in Idaho and Washington in Clarkston, Lewiston, Tammany, Post Falls, Hayden, Hayden Lake, Hauser, Hauser Lake, Coeur d'Alene, and Rathdrum)! I'm just thankful it's something that I really enjoy, and that it's not something that I dread... it's not only a 'job', it's what I love doing.

I built my first web site, and several since them, in straight HTML code. I taught myself everything by reading books and surfing the Internet so that I could learn more. Eventually I took a few classes and earned various Certificates of Web Design/Development and Small Business Management from Walla Walla Community College and Lewis-Clark State College. I'm thankful that I have a strong background in web coding because it ensures that my sites are clean and run smoothly.

I have many clients in the Lewiston, Idaho / Clarkston, Washington areas, as well as several customers and clients throughout Idaho and Washington, and in other areas like Las Vegas, Oregon and California. Many of my out of area clients are curious about who I am aside from what I do - I have lived in Clarkston, Washington all 33 years of my life. I married my 'high-school sweetheart', and we have a wonderful 14 year old son. I love (sugar free) chocolate, the color red, cloudy and rainy days, stamping (making cards for friends and family), making home-made soaps, dancing, and HGTV... Not nearly everything there is to know about me, but probably more than you wanted to know! </LOL>

Due to a fantastic and busy year in 2006, and continued growth into this year, with more business prospects in view, I quickly found the need for a part-time assistant! Linda is our intern from Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. She is a web development major.
